I'm giving up

"The theory used to be you marry an older man because they are more mature. The new theory is that men don't mature. So you might as well marry a younger one. "

Girl. . .please. I'll just add that I did have a funny experience these last couple of days. My friend Gio (who I haven't talked to in 5months-though attempted a couple times-after a fight)finally asked me Monday if we could get together. So at Borders we talked for an hour FINALLY with of course no mention of the big blow out. It was nice to connect finally. Then for April fool's Day we had him and his HTown roommate over for pizza & beer. And we played the ever so mature game of CLUE. I'm 24 and happen to think a very mature woman, however, there are times at least when Regression (screw Freud)is less awkward. There you have it, my Sofia for the morning.

Sorry, but this post sounds like you are selecting a man like a professor. Will you pick the young or the old? Well, the new philosophy is...

If he's mature, do. If he's not, don't.
Selecting the right mate doesn't make marriage work. Commitments do. I can offer marital advice now, though limited in experience.

So what if a guy is mature or not? That's not necessarily the best determinant for picking somebody to be with.

Besides, most of the women I've met in life were immature, so this theory goes both ways.
